On Dec. 20, 2018, the Hull Foundation made a special Holiday delivery to the Children’s Home Society of Virginia: 27 individually gift-wrapped, state-of-the-art Lenovo ThinkPad t440s laptop computers.
The Hull Foundation donated the laptops to the Possibilities Project, a Children’s Home initiative that supports young people who have aged out of the foster care system. For the first time in their lives, these former foster youth will own their very own laptop computers, along with educational software that includes Stencyl, Yoyo Gamemaker Studio2, CodeAcademy and Thimble.
“Young people who have remained in foster care without adoption deserve every opportunity to successfully transition into adulthood,” said Pat Hull. “The Possibilities Project puts belief and empowerment in these individuals, and the Hull Foundation wholeheartedly supports these efforts.”Pat Hull, Founder, The Hull Foundation
